The Stockholm Metro: A Pillar of Modern Art
Street art is one that can be found in the street. The graffiti, drawings, and paintings that are stencilled on the walls of the cities are all forms of street art, ranging from bland wall sophisticated lines that it is impossible to miss.
Many of the latter are found along the Stockholm subway station (better known as Tunnelbana), which we’ve already mentioned earlier in here as one of the metro stations as creative and art gallery world’s longest .
Given the importance of this art gallery is worth dwelling a little longer so unusual phenomenon of street art. More than 140 artists decorated the subway tunnels of Stockholm (capital of Sweden) and made up a true center of modern art 110km long. The art pieces include paintings, murals, sculptures and even mosaics and audiovisual material.
