Berlin is certainly the most famous city of Germany for its tragic past. But today seeks to look ahead and leave history behind. That is why tourism is promoted, offering history, culture and modernity.
A data? Berlin is the city of bars. You have to choose from everywhere, so the nightlife is very strong. If you want to make a quick visit to Berlin, I offer this little guide.
Day 1 – Visit the main attractions
The best way to travel is to take the walking tour (free!) That comes in three shifts, morning, noon and evening, from Unter den Linden. With this tour you will visit the best places in town that are between the Brandenburg Gate (near the starting point), the Monument to the Murdered Jews, the “Checkpoint Charlie”, among others.
It culminates in the Museum Island, home to five museums of which only three are open. You can put the finishing touches on your first day with a few bars in Oranienburg Str. Street is more “festive” in Berlin.
