The Beach of the Cathedrals

As Catedrals is actually the nickname for the beautiful Galician Praia de Augas Santas, an area declared a Natural Monument by the Xunta de Galicia and one of the most popular tourist destinations throughout the Community Galega. Of course we are talking about what is considered the most beautiful beach in Spain, a country where beauty has been generous to the coast.

The visitors found the inspiration to rename the Beach of the Cathedrals, in its monumental rock formations, whose full extent is seen in the times when low tide reveals a beautiful and extensive sand and the immense proportions of its typical of the Cantabrian coast cliffs, in the town of Ribadeo, have been shaped by the erosive action of water and winds.

Areopagus, another important hill in Athens

Areopagus, also known as the Hill of Ares, Areios Payments or Mars Hill, Marble Hill is one that is right next to the Acropolis in Athens. It is said that this place was the High Court of Appeals for criminal and civil cases, being there that was supposedly the god Ares trial for the murder of the son of Poseidon, Alirrothios.

In addition there Ares, also known by the Romans as Mars and that gives the name to the hill, had his trial, also said there Orestes was tried for killing his stepmother and her lover. In the past, there was the main courthouse killings of Athens, so his feet was a temple where murderers could find sanctuary.

The natural wonders of the Cueva de Nerja

La Cueva de Nerja is a place that is located in the village of Maro, in the municipality of Nerja, where he gets his name in Malaga, south of Spain.  Hiroshima Memorial

It has completed the 66 anniversary of one of the most sinister of history, the bombing of the Japanese city of Hiroshima. It was the August 6, 1945 and the world witnessed the devastating power of the new weapon of mass destruction: the atomic bomb.

Attack of the Americans, ordered by President Truman, precipitated the end of World War II and won, after Nagasaki also bombed, the unconditional surrender of Japan. The camp “ally” was winner of a war that lasted six long and grueling years and was the scene of some of the greatest horrors of the History of Mankind.
